For newborn or weaning kitten Beaphar Lactol Kitten Milk is a whole milk supplement enhanced with superior amino acids imported from Netherlands. Made from easily digested whey protein. Ultra-filtration concentrates the proteins, and a slow drying process during production preserves the protein molecules, making it more nutritionally valuable. Directions for use: Using the scoop provided in the lid, add 31g (6 scoops approx.) of Beaphar Lactol Kitten Milk to 100 ml of warm, boiled water and stir until completely dissolved. Allow to cool until lukewarm (38C or blood temperature). Can also be mixed with cold water for older animals. Once prepared, the milk can be kept refrigerated for up to 24 hours, but should be reheated to blood temperature for young animals prior to use. Always keep fresh drinking water available. It is impossible to give precise daily quantities for feeds due to variations in age, size and breed, so on-demand feeding is always recommended. Each kitten should be weighed regularly to ensure it is putting on weight and growing as expected.One litre of prepared Lactol contains approximately 1250 Kcals.
